Dr. Abramson worked at American Psychiatric Association prior to pursuing her Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology, with specialization in Child/Pediatric Psychology. She trained at Case Western Reserve University via the highly selective Pediatric Psychology Research Training Program funded by the National Institute of Mental Health. She furthered her training through Clinical Internship and Postdoctoral Fellowships at Brown University in the Clinical Psychology Training Consortium. She moved to Denver in 2003 to pursue additional Postdoctoral Fellowship Training at University of Colorado Health Sciences Center's Developmental Psychobiology Research Program.
Following fellowship, Dr. Abramson worked at Children's Hospital Colorado, University of Colorado Denver, and National Jewish Health in various clinical and academic positions. She launched her private practice to provide direct clinical care to the community. She continues to work as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics in the Section of Endocrinology at Children's Hospital Colorado and University of Colorado Denver.
